Meet Hill, Jo, Irma, and Jared!

We are so pleased to introduce four wonderful interns and volunteers helping out at the office this summer. These young people bring an incredible array of experience in video production, international relations, translation, and engagement strategies, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them on board.

Hill

I’m looking forward to gaining experience editing and filming video.

CURRENT PROJECT: UnshelteredTV — Video on hydration during summer months for people experiencing homelessness.

Irma

I am volunteering at illuminAid because I am looking to learn more about non-profits and because I support and admire their mission and efforts in helping developing nations.

CURRENT PROJECT: Grant research and application.

Jo

I’m excited to produce a video from scratch and learn more about people experiencing homelessness.

CURRENT PROJECT: UnshelteredTV — Video on hydration and animal care for those without shelter.

Jared

I have a desire to be a part of the good work they are doing domestically and internationally.

CURRENT PROJECT: Outreach! I am learning how to talk to our partners in hopes of working with those doing community outreach in impoverished countries.
