OMPT is Making Things Happen!
We are working every day to bring the benefits of video technology and know-how to the people who need it most, in places where many thought it wouldn't be possible.
Our impact is possible thanks to the hard work and support of our Partner Organizations, and to the generous contributions of our donors. Learn more and take action today!

Julia Hayasaka – Program Manager
Julia works with our project partners to develop and design custom programs in new locations, facilitate Video Education Workshops, and support organizations using OMPT’s training and technology. Julia is originally from Australia. She holds a degree from the University of Canberra in Applied Psychology and a Master’s of Science in Administration in Community and International Development from Andrews University. Julia has worked in several community organizations in both Australia and the US, working with homeless families, youth in out-of-home care, and child protection. She has also spent several years abroad working in humanitarian NGOs in Pakistan, Thailand, Lebanon, Iraq and Ecuador in various roles, including management. Julia has had experience in most sectors, but has a special focus on education, gender empowerment, child protection and working with refugees both pre- and post- resettlement. When she’s not travelling to work with our partner organizations, Julia loves singing, baking and reading, and volunteers for the Butte County Humane Society.
Dana Paz, Development and Grants Manager
Dana liaises with foundations, government organizations, corporations and individuals to grow support for OMPT’s mission and build the pool of resources available to our project partners world-wide. She holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley and has worked in resource development and non-profit management for the past 10 years, in the US and in Guatemala. The bulk of her experience has been in the sectors of education, food security, disaster risk management, microfinance and health, and her greatest inspiration stems from the opportunities she gets to visit project sites and communities, to see first-hand the impactthat funding has on the community. When she's not finding connections between philanthropists and the communities they wish to serve, Dana enjoys camping with her husband and 10 year-old son.
