Where’s OMPT going in May?

India:

OMPT will be heading to India for the ICT4D conference in the middle of this month. The Executive Director, Matt York, will be presenting on the transformative ways OMPT brings video technology and education to the most underdeveloped areas of the world. The session will be hands-on and allow participants to test-drive the equipment OMPT uses. We look forward to sharing our ideas with like-minded people and hope to develop new partnerships to advance our cause in new and interesting ways.

Macedonia:

OMPT in partnership with the East West Management Institute (EWMI) will train a cadre of Macedonian civil society organizations (CSOs) that create their own videos to be disseminated on cordless video projectors. The five year USAID project will provide opportunities for young men and women to participate in public life and decision-making processes on issues that affect their lives and communities. Other partners on this important projects include the Foundation for Internet and society, the Association for Democratic Initiatives, the Foundation Open Society Macedonia, and the National Youth Council of Macedonia.
