OMPT’s Monitoring and Evaluation Report!

At the end of 2015, OMPT conducted a project with Catholic Relief Services in Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. The project was recently completed and the final report submitted. It noted a 33% increase in community participation due to OMPT’s training and technology. This is illustrative of the impact and value locally created video and cordless projectors have on these project.

OMPT is currently crowdsourcing information to improve its equipment offerings. You can help!

  • We are on the prowl for a new, inexpensive, dedicated video camera. Preferably it will be less than $500 and include a microphone input jack. If you have a suggestion, please send us a message with a URL.
  • We are also seeking information about the availability of white blackout fabric, used in making curtains, in the countries where we work. Do you live or work in the developing world? Please tell us if you can find this material in your country – be sure to mention which country you are in and about how much the material costs.

You can contact Claire Pelley at cpelley@ompt.org with any suggestions you may have.

If you haven’t already check out OMPT on FacebookYoutube and Twitter. It is a great way to stay up to date on updates on OMPT, interesting articles, photos and videos from recent projects!
