Recently, we were contacted by the Sunrise Education Foundation in Kathmandu, Nepal. This foundation works to improve the quality and effectiveness of community schools throughout the country. These schools lack fundamental resources and many do not have a consistent location to serve as an educational setting. The Sunrise Education Foundation is committed to using audio-visual technology to provide quality education for students as well as their teachers. Currently, they are seeking OMPT's support as they further develop their "Teachers Can Make a Difference" teacher education program, and we look forward to this possible collaboration.
