Literacy Bridge Finds New Use for Talking Book

Literacy Bridge is an U.S. non-profit organization which focuses on the empowerment of children and adults through literacy education and knowledge sharing. They work together with rural communities in Ghana and provide them low-cost audio technology to help improve their life. They utilize the equipment called Talking Book, which allows people to record thier own voices for educational purposes. Recently, they are working on using the device to disseminate audio resources from other organizations. Cliff Schmidt, the Director of Literacy Bridge spoke with OMPT and would like to collaborate on collecting various sources of audio content.
