We know that your organization is involved in reaching people isolated either by distant geography or perhaps inner city extreme poverty (slums). One Media Player per Teacher can help your organization in your efforts to serve hard-to-reach populations. We think your organization would be the perfect field partner for OMPT's upcoming field trial.

We offer the ability to equip teachers in remote areas with the powerful technology of pico projectors and portable media players (PMPs). This allows village educators to give their students enhanced learning via video lessons and/or recorded voices from the most proficient teachers in their nation. Our intervention reaches learners where there is little to no Internet connectivity and/or AC electrical power.

We are looking for NGOs that focus upon teaching or training as one of their main goals. We have been working to advise other NGOs working in these areas. In various states around India, we have helped Digital Green www.digitalgreen.org to improve their ICT4D intervention. In South Sudan we worked with the Education Development Center (EDC) to empower teachers by empowering them to deliver audio lessons. If you were to participate in an upcoming trial , OMPT could provide equipment, training, and ongoing support to your organization. You would be expected to collaborate with us to adapt your educational content onto our technologies, use them in the field, and report back to us about the impact of the work.

You can learn more about us from our web site www.ompt.org.

We would like to arrange for a phone or Skype call to discuss further. Please let us know what day and time would work for you.
