OMPT (One Media Player per Teacher) is an initiative of Polder, Inc., a U.S.-based nonprofit corporation that enables instructors with instructional technology to reduce poverty and suffering throughout the world.

OMPT’s mission is to reduce poverty and empower the world's poorest one-billion people with knowledge by providing portable, self-powered audio-video instructional technology, content and training solutions to international organizations and instructors working to increase knowledge transfer in difficult and hard-to-reach communities.

OMPT supports teachers in hard to reach places and trains them to use simple, affordable, self-powered, durable A/V devices such as microprojectors, mini-loudspeakers and digital audio players to facilitate the delivery of highly effective audio and video-based instructional content.

OMPT partners with international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to provide access to affordable equipment, train instructors on technology teaching methods, and help them acquire and produce high-quality instructional content appropriate for their region and their development mission.
